Park Jin

President, Asia Future Institute

    Dr. Jin Park is currently leading the Asia Future Institute, an independent policy think-tank designed to conduct research on Korea’s strategic role in the Asia-Pacific region. He is also serving as the Chairman of Korean-American Association (KAA) and teaching at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies as a Distinguished Chair Professor. He served as a Presidential Secretary under Kim Young Sam administration and was elected to the Korean National Assembly three times in the central Jongno District in Seoul, and served as Chairman of Foreign Affairs, Trade and National Unification Committee (2008-2010). He graduated from the College of Law at Seoul National University, Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, New York University Law School, and received a doctorate degree in politics from St. Antony’s College, Oxford University. He is a registered member of the New York State Bar and worked as a Global Fellow of the Woodrow Wilson Center for International Scholars.
