Gerald Zhiyong Lan

Professor of Public Policy and Management at Tsinghua University

    G. Zhiyong Lan obtained his PhD in Public Administration from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, Syracuse University. He hence taught at the School of Public Affairs in Arizona State University. He was Fulbright Scholar to China in 2004-2005. Starting from 2009, he worked intensively in Chinese Universities. His teaching and research interests include public administration theory, administrative reform, urban governance, and e-government and information technology policy. He has published extensively in reputable English and Chinese journals, served on many editorial boards, and as consultant for cities, world bank, and Asian bank.
